The negotiations during 2002 
 The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs during their visit to the region in March 2002 proposed continuation of the negotiation process at the level of special representatives of presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia. This proposal was accepted by both the head of state. Thus, on 13-15 March and 29-30 July 2002 near Prague, the special representatives of both countries head held two meetings.
