Chronology of meetings of President in connection with Nagorno-Garabagh 
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had repeatedly met with the leadership of the Republic of Armenia in connection with Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Garabagh conflict. In all of these meetings which took place in private and multilateral format the Azerbaijani side strongly supported the peaceful settlement of the conflict. Chronology of these meetings is as follows: 11.12.2003: - In Geneva, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharian 28.04.2004: - President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Robert Kocharian met face to face in Warsaw. President Ilham Aliyev issued a statement after the meeting. 15.09.2004: - Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Astana with the Minsk Group co-chairs - Yuri Merzlyakov, Steven Mann, Henry Jacqueline. Later face to face meeting with the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian was held. Visit to Astana ended with trilateral meeting of President Ilham Aliyev with Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the presidents made a statement. 15.05.2005: - In Warsaw, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian President Robert Kocharian. 27.08.2005: - President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian President Robert Kocharian in Kazan. 10.02.2006: - near Paris, at the Palace Rambuye the Republic of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with President Robert Kocharian of Armenia with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. 11.02.2006: - near Paris, at Rambuye Palace the Republic of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev had a face to face meeting.with President Robert Kocharian of Armenia. 04.05.2006: - In Bucharest, President Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian President Robert Kocharian. 28.11.2006: - In Minsk, President Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian President Robert Kocharian. 09.06.2007: - In Saint-Petersburg, "The palace of congresses" state complex , at "Baltic Star" hotel President Ilham Aliyev met with Armenian President Robert Kocharian. 06.06.2008: - in St. Petersburg, the President Ilham Aliyev met with the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan 02.11.2008: - in Moscow, Russia, at the residence of the President - "Main Dorf" castle the President Ilham Aliyev met his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan. - in Moscow, Russia, at the residence of the President - "Main Dorf" castle President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan continued under the trilateral format. As a result of negotiations, the declaration was signed. 28.01.2009: - In Zurich of Switzerland the President Ilham Aliyev met with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. 07.05.2009: - In Prague, at the U.S. embassy residence the President Ilham Aliyev met with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. 04.06.2009: - In Saint-Petersburg, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. Then President Mr. Ilham Aliyev had a face to face meeting with the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. 17.07.2009: In Moscow the President Ilham Aliyeva had a meeting with the President of Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan 18.07.2009: In Moscow Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had a tripartite meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan 09.10.2009: - In Chisinau President Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. 25.01.2010: - President Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan in Sochi’s "Adler" International airport. Then he had a trilateral meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. 17.06.2010: - President Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with the Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev and President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan in St. Petersburg, in "Konstantinovski" Palace. 27.10.2010: - In Astrakhan, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a trilateral meeting. 05.03.2011: - In Sochi in "Grand Polyana" hotel at "Receptions House" the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a three-sided meeting. After the trilateral meeting the heads of states adopted a joint statement in accordance with the results of the negotiations on settlement of the Nagorno-Garabagh conflict. 24.06.2011: - President Ilham Aliyev met in Kremlin of Kazan with the Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev and President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. In the end, the heads of the states adopted a declaration made in accordance with the results of negotiations on the regulation Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Garabagh conflict. 23.01.2012: - In Sochi President Ilham Aliyev had a joint meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. The heads of states adopted a declaration made in accordance with the results of negotiations on the regulation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Presidents confirmed that the strengthening of mutual trust within the framework of the settlement of the Nagorno-Garabagh conflict is the primary way for the development of humanitarian ties between the parties. In this connection, the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenian stated that there are ready to support the development of a dialogue between intellectuals and representatives of scientific and public circles.
